The George West HS Spanish Club is a chartered member of the Pan American Student Forum (PASF) of Texas. Every year our members participate in the Texas PASF Convention and the Texas Area Model of the Organization of American States (TAMOAS).
The Texas Area Model Organization of American States (TAMOAS) is an important activity of the PASF. TAMOAS is designed to allow students to propose and discuss solutions to problems in the Americas. Our student delegates choose a country to represent and they research that country’s history, culture and political position on certain topics. They then write proposals for solutions to the various problems following the procedures and purposes of the Charter of the OAS.
These programs and other activities the club endeavors help to develop in our members character as well as interpersonal and leadership skills. Your continued support and the community’s has enabled us to grow every year. Consequently, our students have achieved well beyond their expectations and found the best within themselves and others. We especially wish to thank our newest patron, Modern Pipeline Construction for their generous donation. Gracias mil!
