Aranda, Moore medal at CC’s West Guth Park

Refugio cross country runners competed at West Guth Park in Corpus Christi on Saturday, The team includes (first row) Aimee Aranda, Rair Martinez, Jessica Vasquez (second row) Coach Craft, Ally Coscetti, Jackie Gonzalez, Katie Snyder, Dalton Klare, Monica Padron, Thomas Aranda, and Kenny Moore.

CORPUS CHRISTI — Refugio eighth grade cross country runners Aimee Aranda placed 12th and Kenny Moore placed 19th at the West Guth Park Cross Country meet in Corpus Christi on Saturday, Oct. 15.

Both runners received medals in their respective girls and boys divisions.

Ally Coscetti, Katie Snyder, Jackie Gonzalez, Monica Padron, Jessica Vasquez, Rair Martinez, Thomas Aranda, and Dlaton Klare also competed at the meet.

This is the last meet before district on Oct. 25, in Skidmore for the Junior High runners and Oct. 26, at West Guth for the high school runners.
