The United Methodist Church in Karnes City is preparing an appreciation dinner honoring the Karnes City Fire Department, Kenedy Fire Department, Karnes County EMS Unit, the Regional EMS Unit, The Kenedy Police Department, the Karnes City Police Department and the Karnes County Sheriff’s Department.

This Appreciation Dinner is scheduled for Nov. 19 at the United Methodist Church Mission Hall in Karnes City and will honor these organizations and their families.

“We truly don’t know everything these great organizations do for our communities,” Larry Kiesling said. “We don’t think too much about them until we personally need them in cases of emergency or when we need help in the county with fires, accidents and other catastrophes. We have certainly had our share of grass fires during the past year because of the drought condition.”

“This dinner is just a small way to say, ‘Thank You for what you do,’ on behalf of Karnes City and Kenedy through the United Methodist Church. We look forward to this event to honor our service personnel and our God through our prayers, our time, and our money.”

Those who need additional information can contact the United Methodist Church office 780-3307 or Larry Kiesling at 830-583-2342.
