Kenedy 8th grader Daren Cruz carries the ball for the Cubs.  Kenedy defeated Pettus 22-0 to end the season with 7 wins and 2 losses.

On Thursday the Kenedy Cubs traveled to Pettus to finish out the football regular season. The Cubs were able to raise there record to 7-2 on the year with the 30-6 victory over the Eagles. Scoring for the Cubs were Daren Cruz who had 3 touchdowns and 2- 2pt conversion. Aaron Villarreal had 1 touchdown and Travis Vickery had 1 2pt conversion. The Cubs were leading after three quarters by a score of 22-0. The Eagles and Cubs would each get a touchdown to bring us to the final score of 30-6. Congrats to the Cubs on a fine season as this was the second year in a row to end up on the winning side for a record.
