He was born Sept. 25, 1921 to Bartold and Gavina Perez.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margarita Silvas Perez; and son, Miguel C. Perez.
Survivors include two daughters, Josephine Perez Moya of Refugio, and Mary Alice Perez Saenz of Corpus Christi; two sons, Emelio Perez and Robert Perez, both of Refugio; and one sister, Gavina Perez Vasquez of Refugio; 18 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
A prayer service was conducted at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at Moore Funeral Home Chapel, Refugio.
A funeral service was conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, with Pastor Don Leavell officiating.
Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Refugio.
