The members of the George West Food Pantry would like to express our sincere appreciation to all the businesses, organizations and citizens of Live Oak County who held food drives or gave monetary donations to the George West –Saint Vincent de Paul Food Pantry this past weekend. We were very blessed to have been able to distribute over 8000 lbs. of food to over 150 families in Live Oak County.

The following are some of the businesses, organizations and individuals in Live Oak County who donated their time, talent and treasures to the Pantry this Thanksgiving; Valero, Mike’s Septic Service, Catholic Life Insurance Branch #104, Dance by Jeannie, George West Four H Club & Diane Geffert.

Also we would like to thank all the volunteers who helped to pack and distribute boxes of food last Thursday and Saturday. We are so fortunate to live in a county were so many individuals and businesses give their time, talent, and treasures to help those who are facing difficult times.

Again thank you all for helping families who received food from the Pantry to have a Thanksgiving dinner with their families this week.
