Your Karnes City Community Chamber of Commerce continues to be busy as the Chamber itself is adding members and looking forward to our Annual Chamber of Commerce Banquet. As mentioned in the last Chamber Chatter, our theme this year will be looking at and sharing about “Karnes City Businesses – Past, Present, and Future.” And with all of the interesting history of our city combined with the increased flurry due to the Eagle-Ford Shale Oil & Gas discoveries, we invite all of you to attend our banquet on Saturday, March 3 at the Panna Maria Diner. Please also think about bringing us pictures from the past, present, and future businesses just opened or planning to open soon so that we can display them at the gathering.
As in the past banquets, the doors of the Panna Maria Diner will open at 6 p.m. to gather together, check out the Silent Auction items to bid on, and followed with a delicious, catered meal at 7 p.m. After that, our annual award presentations for Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year, and Organization of the Year will be given. Guest speakers are being invited to speak about their association with the Chamber of Commerce and what it has meant to them as business owners or citizens of our growing community.
Anyone who would like to donate silent auction items, we invite you to call the Chamber Office at 830-780-3112 about any such item. You may bring it by the office or call for someone to come and pick it up. Your name and/or business will be advertised as the donor. More details about reservations for tables and the cost and purchase of the tickets will be advertised as well in future notices. But, for now, be sure and hold that date, Saturday, March 3, on your calendar for the Annual Karnes City Community Chamber of Commerce Banquet.
Remember, too, our doors are open here at the Chamber Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. And our telephone number is 830-780-3112.
‘Til Next Time!
