We played our first district game on Friday ,March 2nd against Karnes City, losing 9-2.
On Saturday, March 3rd, we were back in Banquete to finish the tournament. We lost the early game to Banquete 8-7. Later that night, we played Bishop for third place beating them 13-8.
Top hitters on the weekend were Marley Snider who had five singles, three doubles, two triples, and one homerun; Kate Jimerson who had four singles, and two doubles; Tiffany Garza who had two singles and two doubles and Shawna DeLeon who had seven singles and four doubles.
Our current record is overall, 5-7 and district, 0-1.
