Enrique (Henry) Reyes Garza, 89, of Oxnard California, died on March 16, 2012. He was born March 5, 1923 in Campbellton, the son of the late Eulalio Garza, Sr. and Rufina Garza. He married Francis Garza on October 19, 1946. In 1940, he served in the U.S. Army as a heavy mortar crewman. After his honorable discharge, he worked in various professions.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Reynaldo Garza, Eulalio Garza, Jr.; Arturo Garza and Avelino Garza; two sisters, Josephina Rodriguez and Maria Garza.

He is survived by his wife; four daughters, Emma (Jose) Aguero; Elena (Domingo) Tanguma; Sylvia (Alex) Rodarte and Carol (Joey) Maldonado; seven sons, Henry (Belinda) Garza; Carlos “Rocky” (Rose) Garza; Sam (Marcela) Garza; David (Barbie) Garza; Dario (Tracy) Garza; Hector (Gloria) Garza and Daniel (Dacia) Garza; one brother, Alberto Garza of Three Rivers; three sisters, Margarita (Audelio) Salazar of Three Rivers; Lupita (Lionelle) Castillo of Katy and Elizabeth Garza (Pat) Ryan of Missoula, Montana; 32 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.

A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, March 27, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Three Rivers. The commital service with military honors will follow at Three Rivers Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel of Beeville.
