The Baylor University Men’s Choir has a strong heritage, dating back to fall 1895, and has served as an integral part of the university’s musical life. The BUMC performs a wide variety of both sacred and secular music and is comprised of men from most majors on the Baylor Campus.
Past concert highlights include performances at Carnegie Hall, St. Bartholomew Episcopal Church in New York, and the Texas Music Educators Convention. Recently, the BUMC was chosen to present the opening concert for the Southwest American Choral Director’s Association Convention in Little Rock, Ark. The choir also has toured internationally including a recent trip to Kenya, Africa and Argentina.
The group’s annual season includes performances for Parent’s Weekend, fall and spring concerts, tours, the Baylor Christmas concerts and frequent appearances for university guests, alumni and members of the wider community.
All are invited to attend. Due to the choir singing in the context of a service, there is no admission charge or tickets.
