The costumed horned toad mascot will attend the Bluebonnet Days parade this year. Also on that day, the club will host a display booth in the park and play horned toad games for the visitors throughout the day.
At the booth we will explain what makes good horned toad habitat and help kids to make their own horned toad kites. We are not sure, yet, what horned toad games we will play. We have some old reliables like “Helping horned toads,” “Red ant eating,” and “Horned toad tossing.” We are also open to new suggestions.
The Horned Toad Club welcomes suggestions and new members all the time. The next club meeting is scheduled for April 26. To make comments, to volunteer, or to report horned toad sighting’s, call Wade Phelps at 830-583-9891.
