BEEVILLE — Members of Beeville’s Neighborhood Watch Organization are hosting an open house on Thursday, April 26, at the Beeville Community Center, 111 E. Corpus Christi St.

The session will start at 7 p.m. and continue until 9 o’clock.

Beeville residents interested in crime prevention in their neighborhoods will want to attend. The event is open to the public.

County Judge David Silva will be the guest speaker.

Already, two Neighborhood Watch units have been established in the city, and Police Chief Joe Treviño is interested in seeing more organized.

Crime Prevention Officer Patrolman Greg Baron is in charge of organizing the units. He and the chief will be at the meeting on April 26.

Everyone is encouraged to attend and help the Beeville Police Department stop neighborhood crime.
