Donations ring in for Vineyard

The bells rang through First United Methodist Church Tuesday evening during the Chimes and Chocolates benefit for the Beeville Vineyard which raised $2,000. Four church bell choirs from First Baptist, First Presbyterian, First United Methodist and St. Philip’s Episcopal Churches presented an evening of handbell music. Each choir rang two selections, and the four groups rang the opening and closing hymns and two special arrangements en masse. Chocolate desserts were provided after the concert by Vineyard board members.
