The board recently had a new water well dug and a new storage tank and booster pump installed to improve the irrigation system.
The board also installed a sprinkler system on the Little League field and at the Memorial.
The project was funded by the 4B Corporation.
The 4B Corporation was created in 1996 by the residents of Kenedy.
The Corporation receives one half cent of the sales tax to fund parks and recreation and for economic development.
