The Bee County Boxing Club would like to thank everyone who attended the 1st Erik Walker Boxing Tournament. We were thankful for great sponsors from local businesses and from businesses in Pawnee and Kenedy.

Special thanks to Mrs. Moore for donating $300 to the boxing club on behalf of the Erik Walker Memorial; Annette Salazar for singing the national anthem; VFW Post 9170 for the honor guard; Rene Guerrero for announcing; Balde Alvarado and family for the usage of the Texas Grand; Raymond Silvas for donating a pair of boxing gloves autographed by numerous boxing champions, that were auctioned off at $300; Michael Silvas and family for getting together some of the top sponsors; Rice Plumbing; Aztec Chevrolet; 3-G Electric; Bee Auto Specialty; Treviño Inc.; Quiroga family; volunteer judges; referees; Dr. Rene Rodriguez; and, last but not least, 2nd Chance Boxing Club in Victoria.
