There will be a formal presentation of the royal court with a crowning of the queen on May 5, one week before the other events of Bluebonnet Days. The coronation will take place at 6 p.m. at the Kenedy High School Auditorium. It will be hosted by the Kenedy Chamber of Commerce. Master of Ceremonies will be Mr. Ricky DeLeon. The coronation will be followed by a Coronation Celebration in honor of the queen and her court at the city hall auditorium beginning at 8 p.m. The celebration will feature a DJ and light show and will be open to the public.
