The first grant was awarded to buy books to send home with elementary students to begin an at home library for the child.
The second grant is for use to purchase iPads to assist students with math.
Trustees also voted to reschedule the next meeting for May 15.
Next on the agenda trustees discussed and approved updates to school policies recommended by Texas Association of School Boards.
