Kenedy school board hears update on work at old school

KENEDY – The Kenedy ISD school board held their monthly meeting Monday, April 16.

Trustees were given an update on the renovations of the old primary school on 5th Street.

Chuck Ramon discussed plans for the building and requested that the fence between the old school and the head start building be removed to provide better access to the property behind the building.

Next on the agenda trustees voted to cancel the school board elections for District 4 and District 5.

The trustees in these two districts are running unopposed.

In other business trustees heard a progress report from the Campus Intervention Team.

Trustees also approved updates to school policies recommended by the Texas Association of School Boards.
