On Thursday, May 3, the Beeville Ministerial Alliance will sponsor the annual observance of the National Day of Prayer with a walk through the downtown area and various ministers and members of the religious community offering prayers for the nation.

The service will begin on the courthouse grounds at noon and proceed to community buildings, where prayers will be offered for the military, the nation and federal government, members of Congress, education, city and county government, law enforcement and emergency services and the growth of the economy.

There are clergy in the community who have had prior careers as military chaplains, school teachers, members of the military and government officials and are aware of the power of prayer. They ask for your support in this time of prayer. All are welcome.
