The two princesses in order of selection are: first runner-up: Yvette “Trina” Almanza; second runner-up: Candice Ornelas. At the same time, Nayeli Rangel was chosen as Little Miss Bluebonnet Belle and Damon Rosales was chosen as Little Mr. Bluebonnet Beau.
After choosing from a field of 7 candidates, the judges reached their decision on Sunday evening, April 22 at a tea held at the home of Paul and Mary Alice May.
A dining room setting of crystal, silver, and a spring floral arrangement complemented the refreshments.
Each candidate must be either a junior or senior from Kenedy High School and they are interviewed by a panel of three judges. Serving as the judges this year were Debbie Dunn, Gretchen Dupnik, and Brenda Ihrig.
Serving as the duchesses of the royal court and Erica Rangel, Cameron Ruiz, Saren Sutton, and Samantha Espinoza.
