During Time for Young Disciples, the children were encouraged to keep Jesus in their hearts. Serving as acolytes for the service were Brannon Woelfel and Briley Ernst, and serving as ushers were Stephen Harlos and Blake Elkins.
After the church service, the congregation participated in a luncheon in honor of graduating senior Blake Elkins. Blake is graduating from Falls City High School on June 1.
On May 26, Fashing Church’s new ministry, STRIVE (South Texas Rural Impaired Vision Encouragers) will hold its next meeting at Blanconia Baptist Church, which is outside of Beeville towards Refugio. Located about 19 miles west of Karnes City on FM 9 in the Fashing community in Atascosa County, Fashing United Methodist Church welcomes all to attend weekly church services and activities. Services are held each Sunday at 10 a.m., with church school for adults and children beginning at 9.
