Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court St. George #2528 observed its fifth anniversary in December 2008.

This month, the Court will hold a membership drive in hopes of increasing its attendance and get women, 18 and over, to share the benefits of this worthy organization of Catholic women.

“The CDA motto, ‘Unity and Charity,’ helps us attain our goal in striving to come together and help our parish by donating to local charities as well as raising funds for scholarship programs,” said Regent Yolanda Lewis.

“In donating to these worthy causes, we hold several fund-raisers throughout the year. Meetings are scheduled once a month on the second Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the St. George parish hall,” said Ms. Lewis.

All ladies interested in joining are invited to attend the next meeting set for Tuesday, Feb. 10, at 6:30 p.m.
