BEEVILLE – The Beeville Little League All-Star postseason could not be going any better.

Through Monday evening of this week, all six all-star squads remain undefeated with a perfect combined record of 11-0.

Rain has played havoc with schedules and the first District 29 tournaments are still finishing up, but the Beeville squads are more than holding their own.

“We’re doing better good,” said Little League President Norris Jackson on Tuesday evening at the minor girls’ game with Odem in Sinton.

The outcome of the game was another win by the Beeville girls as they went to extra innings to pull out an 8-4 victory.

The minor boys are doing just as well as they collected a Zone II championship on Tuesday night with a 3-0 win over George West to remain undefeated in all-star competition. The Beeville boys met Aransas Pass (Zone I winner) on Thursday evening to determine the District 29 champion.

The major girls have had their way with their competition in Orange Grove. The Beeville girls captured an 11-1 win over Aransas Pass last week and then blistered Woodsboro 23-0. The team met Rockport on Thursday evening.

No other information has been received on the scores in the other divisions.

It is requested that the managers of all the Little League squads report their results to the Bee-Picayune by contacting or by calling the sports department at 358-2550, ext. 123.
