St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Karnes City, was again the site of this year’s Vacation Bible School Day Camp. A team of young adults from Cross Tails Ministry of Camp Chrysalis, Kerrville conducted the camp. Approximately 25 students were in attendance every day. The camp was held July 19-13 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

“Free to Follow” was this year’s theme and campers participated in bible study, music with hand bells, crafts, outdoor exercise ad lots of fellowship. Campers spent the week learning about Moses from his birth to leading the Israelites to the Promised Land and accepting the Ten Commandments from God. This years team consisted of Piper Hunter, leader of the staff of Zach Hoppes, Meghan Karnei and Beth Rozacky. Their enthusiasm and energy carried over to the students every day.
