Betty Lara and Lupe Cuellar
The bride-elect is the daughter of Luis and Juanita Lara and the granddaughter of Tranquilino and Genoveba Lara and Seferino and Maria Cuevas. She graduated from Coastal Bend College in 1998 with a nursing license and from Del Mar College in 2005 with an associate’s degree in nursing. She is currently employed at Woodridge Nursing and Rehabilitation as director of nursing.
The prospective groom is the son of Rosa Linda Cuellar and Guadalupe Valdez and the grandson of Guadalupe and Adela Valdez Sr. and Reyes and Guadalupe Cuellar. He is a project manager for JST Global Seismic Services.
The couple plans to wed Saturday, Aug. 18, at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
