GOLIAD – Former Texas Longhorn football players Doug English and Billy Walker were in Goliad on Tuesday morning to deliver a new football practice device to the Tigers.

Walker, who played high school football at Goliad High School, purchased the device for the school. English, a former All-Southwest Conference defensive tackle at Texas and all-pro performer for the NFL Detroit Lions, helped create the PowerDrive, which is designed to help football players develop strength and conditioning.
