Built in 1936 by Etta Terrell, the 10,000 square-foot, 22-room Berclair Mansion made of all steel, brick and cement was intended to be fireproof. Though sitting empty for 20 years, extensive renovations have been done, and the mansion is now open for tours. Some even say the old home is haunted.
