There will be a meeting of the Karnes County Historical Society at 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 24. The meeting will be held at 216 West Main (formerly The Little Red School House) in Kenedy.

At the meeting we will discuss future plans for the Helena complex, status of the Ruckman House restoration, the Karnes County Courthouse restoration schedule, new Historical Markers in 2012, membership drive and plans for Indian Summer.

At 5 p.m. there will be a special meeting of the Flaccus History group. We are hoping to have as our special guest, Charlotte Nichols who has contributed so much to the documentation of Karnes County History.

Call Sue Butler Carter at 210-710-4896 with any questions.
