Ruben Almaguer and Colby Zamzow each had interceptions. Damacio Dominguez, Matthew Haney, and Mac Wimberly led the Goliad defense in tackles.
Kersey Jones scored the first touchdown on a 60-yard run. Wimberly had the Tigers’ other touchdown on a 2-yard run behind blocks from Steven Koehne, Blake Weise, Colton Rifenburg, Zach Irby, and Ethan Whaley.
The Tiger JV will host Mathis at 5 p.m. Friday.
