Rose and Ed Cook, owners of Artistic Beauty Salon and Boutique attended the Tri-District Beauty Show in Victoria, where Ed entered and won a hair cutting contest and brought back a first place trophy from the Texas Hairdressers and Cosmetologists Association. Estelle Fields, THCA president, presented him the trophy. Also attending were Mrs. Teresa Chapa and Mrs. Jerry Long, District THCA Directors.
