John von Dohlen finished eighth. The Tigers were also led by Quentin Alkek (13th), Austen Guerrero (28th), Ryan Walker (29th), Jake Schneider (36th), Ryder Billo (47th), Anthony Maldonado (60th), Nikolas Westfall (61st), and Daniel Dohmann (74th).
Corpus Christi Tuloso-Midway won the team title with 65 points. Port Aransas (73) was third and Goliad followed with 111 points.
Goliad varsity girls runners were Morgan Jeanneret (42nd), Marla Reyna (46th), Briana Flores (62nd), and Sami Garza (67th).
Goliad’s Tino Reyes was fifth in the seventh-grade boys division.
In the seventh-grade girls race, Goliad’s Abby Tramel was fifth, Savannah Shaw was 21st, Emily Dupree was 22nd, and Sarah Helmer was 25th
Goliad’s Rhett Davis was 15th in the eighth-grade boys event and Garrett Coles was 31st.
Goliad’s Andrea DeLaGarza won the eighth-grade girls event and teammate Roxanne Morris was second. Michala Janssen was fifth, Holly Gaskamp was eighth, Casey Tislow was 19th, and Bryanna Mendoza was 28th.
The teams will run Saturday in the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islander Splash at West Guth Park.
