Wow, what a week! We’ve had cooler weather, fantastic rain and new businesses continue to join the Kenedy Chamber, helping to make our town thrive. This week we welcomed and introduced Carabin Shaw to our community. Carabin Shaw Attorney is located at 322 Main Street and what a fun group to work with. They brought representatives in from both their San Antonio and Beeville offices to celebrate their grand opening here in Kenedy and they are already planning on working with us at the Golf Tournament.

With this nice weather, it’s a great time to be hosting our annual Six Shooter Junction Golf Tournament! It’s scheduled for Oct. 20 and we are pumped up. Plans are ongoing as we invite players, sponsors, and cooks from all over. You won’t have a better time or get better food anywhere. All this and you’ll be helping our kids receive scholarships and Christmas with Toy’s for Tots.

This Friday the chamber will welcome another law firm. The Maloney Law Firm will have a ribbon cutting at 11 a.m. Then at 4 p.m. they will host a social hour in hopes of spending a little more quality time with Kenedy.
