The program, Operation Game Thief, is up and running with a 24/7 hotline with Tip411 technology.
OGT phone calls will be routed to the LaPorte Communications Center and text-tip reporting will go to the Austin center.
In order to use the program:
• Enter 847411 in the To: box;
• Enter tpwd (not case specific) in the message box and then continue with their report and send;
•The dispatcher will then be able to communicate back and forth with the complainant.
Records will be kept and monitoring will be done on the new technology to see how public reporting is improved.
