Ombudsmen visit nursing homes to promote quality care and to protect residents’ rights.
Free initial and ongoing training is provided and no prior experience is required. Volunteers are needed in Calhoun, DeWitt, Goliad, Gonzales, Jackson, Lavaca, and Victoria counties, representing the Golden Crescent region.
