Students at Kenedy Elementary participated in “Just Say No” week, Oct. 22-26. Students were discouraged from engaging in illegal drugs by being actively involved in a week’s worth of activities. Mrs. Echols and the 5th grade G/T students organized the activities. Everyday there was a different theme. Monday began with “These Paws Don’t Touch Drugs” and ended on Friday with “Winners Don’t Do Drugs”. The students dressed up and showed their support for a drug-free life all week. Two daily winners were chosen from each grade level and prizes were awarded.
