This week we have the students from head start coming to see us on Wednesday morning for tricks and treats at the chamber office and in the evening we will be joining Alexander Auto Center at their annual Merchant Halloween Trick or Treat at 1601 Escondido Street. Everyone should give Alexander Auto a call to see how to set up in one of their vehicles and pass out goodies to the kids. Every year more and more kids and their parents come and what an opportunity to do a little business networking. Come out and join us. If you’re still up for some fun and fellowship when we finish at Alexander’s, come on over to the 11th Annual Hallelujah Night at The World Fellowship Church at Hwy 181 S. and Flax Plant Rd. here in Kenedy. I can’t wait to get involved. I’ve heard they had over 4,000 people last year with kids dressed in cute costumes playing games, winning prizes, eating snacks and enjoying fellowship with one another. It’s another great opportunity to get involved in what’s happening in Kenedy.
Next week we have a ribbon cutting or two and plans are ongoing for the Annual Radio Auction and Christmas in the Park. Give me a call or come on by the chamber to see what we are doing and get involved with us. We also want to know what you have going on. With the Eagle Ford Shale activity, we have lots of new neighbors, and business opportunities. Together we can make a huge difference in Kenedy. Let’s get started! Until we meet, live life fully!
