Karnes City Cub Scout Pack 115 and American Heritage Girls Troop 115 had a camp-out at Palmetto State Park on Dec. 7-8. The children roasted marshmallows over a campfire built by the boys, learned about cooking outdoors, took a hike, and practiced skills like setting up a tent.
