Receiving all tourney trophies were Analisa Arriaga-8th grade, Makayla Scott-7th grade.
The 7th grade girls won 2nd place in the tournament. They played the first round against Mathis defeating them 24 to 16 then went on to play in the championship against Odem.
The Lady Eaglets fell short in a hard fought game.
Scoring for the Lady Eaglets were Makayla Scott, 18, Kenzie Martinez, 4, Abbey Hicks, 3, and Ali Carmichael, 2.
Playing good defense were Ashley Davis, Brittney Fricks, and K’lynn Martinez said coach Jaime Cano.
The 8th grade Lady Eaglets won 3rd place in the tournament.
They played the first round against Mathis and fell short. Then they went on to play for 3rd place and beat Odem in a tight game, 27 to 26.
Scoring for the Lady Eaglets were Analisa Arriaga, 20, Rachel Blaschke, 8, Jessi Gonzalez, 5, Taylor Nixon, 6, Kasten Cisneros and Tess Perez, 2 each.
Also contributing to the win were Haley Garza, Mia Brown, and Rebecca Gonzales.
“Congratulations Lady Eaglets,” Cano said. “Great job ladies.”
The next game for the the Lady Eaglets is Thursday, Jan. 24 at home against Port Aransas.
