Barbecue tickets available
Tickets for the Relay for Life barbecue to be held Sunday, Feb. 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Goliad County Fairgrounds are available at the Goliad County Extension Office for $8.
Lamb and Goat Camp
The Howard College Lamb and Goat Camp will be held this summer. Registration forms can be picked up at the Goliad County Extension Office.
The Goat Camp will be June 2-4 and the Lamb Camp will be held June 9-11.
The final category for the year will be “Wildlife.”
Photos will be due Feb. 11. The district photo contest will be in March.
Stampede 4-H Club members are selling tickets for their annual Valentine raffle.
The winning ticket holder will receive a $50 gift certificate to the restaurant of their choice, two Cinemark movie tickets, $15 gas card and a box of candy.
Tickets are $1 each or six for $5 and can be purchased from any Stampede 4-H member. Proceeds from the raffle will go to Relay for Life.

Scholarships are due in the Goliad County Extension Office by Jan. 30. They need to be in the district office by Feb. 8.
Online record books
Record books will be completed online this year. At the end of the year, the books will still be printed out and turned in as usual.
There have been some significant changes this year. The earlier members start their record books, the easier it will be to complete. The online setup is made to be used year round. Those showing an animal in the 2013 Goliad County Fair must turn in a record book to be eligible to show again in 2014.
