Kristine Horton, seated, was sworn in as the new deputy city secretary Friday by her boss, City Secretary Barbara Treviño, standing. Kristine is the daughter of Robert and Gracie Horton, is a 2007 graduate of A.C. Jones High School and has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi.
