GOLIAD – The Goliad Tigerettes scored 14 runs in the first inning and coasted the rest of the way in a 19-0 win over the Pettus Lady Eagles on Tuesday night in a game called after three innings.

Kayla Friend (3-for-3, 2 doubles, 3 runs, 2 RBI), Amber Rose (3-for-3, double, 3 runs, 4 RBI) led the Tigerettes' offense. Kelsey Kocian, Briana Flores, Kara Thomas, Stormie Lutz, Michele Campbell, Kristian Chance and Rachel Vaughn each had two hits for Goliad. Chance got the win on the mound.
