The Kenedy Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the 35th Annual Bluebonnet Days Coronation Friday, April 19 at the Kenedy High School Auditorium. If you have not yet submitted your application to the Kenedy Chamber of Commerce office, please due so as soon as possible.

All interested candidates must submit application to the Kenedy Chamber of Commerce office no later than Friday, March 1 by 6 p.m. A mandatory meeting with all contestants and a parent/legal guardian is scheduled at this time to review pageant guidelines and sign consent slips. There is absolutely no registration fee to submit your application. All applications are welcome.

The following categories are open for competition: Little Mr. & Miss Bluebonnet 2013 - Child must be enrolled at Kenedy I.S.D. kinder or 1st grade. Jr. Miss Bluebonnet Pageant 2013 - All contestants must be girls in grade levels 6th thru 8th, single with no dependents and presently enrolled in Kenedy Middle School. Miss Bluebonnet Day 2013 - All contestants must be girls enrolled at Kenedy High School with zero dependents.

All contestants must have a satisfactory passing grade point average in order to participate. This year the Kenedy Chamber of Commerce will award the following scholarships to our Miss Bluebonnet Days Queen and her court. Bluebonnet Days Queen will receive a $1,000.00 scholarship, 1st runner-up will receive a $750.00 scholarship and 2nd runner-up will receive a $500.00 scholarship. In addition, ConocoPhillips will present Miss Bluebonnet Days Queen and her court with a Champion's Choice belt buckle engraved with award winning title.
