CONSUMER DECISION MAKING PRACTICE

Anyone who has contacted the office with an interest in participating in Consumer Decision Making will be notified when the appropriate information is available.

COUNTY PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST- DEADLINE APPROACHING - ENTRIES DUE NEXT THURSDAY, FEB. 28

4-Hers, did you know that you can enter your photography projects at the county level? County entries are due no later than Thursday Feb. 28 at 4 p.m. to the extension office. Refer to the February newsletter listed on the county website for details.

COUNTY CAMP

Registration is open March 1 – June 1 for county camp. Karnes County will be going July 8 - July 10. County Camp will be at the Texas 4-H Center in Brownwood. For more information, refer to the information posted on the county website.

ATTENTION SENIORS

Any high school senior that is active 4-H or FFA members in good standing and interested in applying for the Karnes County Youth Show, Travis Lynch Memorial, or Dove Country Classic Scholarships, please contact your school counselor, Ag teacher, or county agent for an application. Applications are also available on the county website.

DONATIONS FOR A WORTHY CAUSE!

The Lonesome Dove 4-H Club is going to be making hospital gowns that are specifically designed for young children and will be using “fun” fabrics in an effort to brighten the day of a child!  Please feel free to make donations that will be used towards the purchase of fabric that meets the specifications. Donations may be sent to the extension office.  Please call if you have any questions.
