Seth Hepworth is congratulated by Scoutmaster Kevin Kilcrease after being approved for the rank of Eagle Scout on Jan. 28. Seth is a member of Karnes City Boy Scout Troop 115. Seth passed his final Eagle Board of Review on Jan. 28, only three days after his sixteenth birthday. This is the highest award in Boy Scouts and less than one percent of boys in scouting earn this award. His Eagle project included repainting the splashpad and basketball courts at the city park. Seth is home schooled and is in the tenth grade. He is the third son of Roger and Marie Hepworth. His two older brothers are also proud recipients of the Eagle Rank.
