The driver of the Dodge van – Andrew Turner, 26, of Corpus Christi – had small cuts on his head and elbows.
Turner was headed south when his vehicle went off the roadway into the median. He over corrected and crossed both southbound lanes and went off the roadway again on the west side of the lanes, this time flipping four times, according to Refugio County Sheriff’s Deputy Matt Tuttle.
Tuttle said Turner said he blacked out when he was driving.
In addition to the Refugio County Sheriff’s Office, the Refugio Volunteer Fire Department and medics responded to the accident.
