Volunteers from the Head Start Community came together on Saturday, March 23, at the Ayala Head Start Center, located at 815 N. Tyler St., to create a Children’s Garden. Ayala Head Start children and parents along with other community members donated seeds, flowers, vegetables and garden supplies to the effort. The garden will be used as an educational tool to allow the children to explore their environment and to teach the children to appreciate and learn about plant life.
