On April 24-25 from 7 p.m. - 7a.m. teams of enthusiastic citizens will gather at Three Rivers High School Stadium to fight back against cancer.

Relay For Life is a unique fund raising event that allows participants from all walks of life to join together to fight cancer. I want to let everyone know that Relay For Life is an entertaining, fun and safe family activity.

Relay allows us as a community to come together to remember loved ones that are forever in our hearts and celebrate cancer survivors. You don’t have to be involved with a team or a cancer survivor to join us at the track on Saturday night. Everyone within the community is invited to come see what we are about. We will have a silent auction and several on-site fund raisers open to the community. The silent auction will begin around 8 p.m. and will include theme baskets, such as sports, beach, summer, and kid friendly. Many of the on-site fund raisers are $1 a chance or 6 for $5. Fund raisers on Saturday night include karaoke, quilt raffle, 50/50 raffles, Bingo, manicures and many more.

We look forward to the day when cancer no longer threatens the ones we love.
