The Donoghue Ranch in Goliad was established in 1949 and in the years that followed Donoghue Arabians won national and international honors. The most famous Donoghue Arabian, of course, was CASS OLE, American Horse Shows Association “Horse of the Year” and seen by millions in the movie “The Black Stallion.”
Quality, good disposition and performance ability were the hallmarks of a Donoghue-bred Arabian, just as integrity, generosity, charity and graciousness were qualities personified by their breeders.
