All eyes gravitated toward this huge crane as the Walton Sign Company of Corpus Christi hoisted this sign in place for T Shirts Plus, a new business opening at 212 N. Washington St. Owners Donna and Marlin Shears, Oklahoma natives who have been Beeville residents for the last six years (at the time of this photo), said they would carry a complete line of T-shirts – jerseys, baseball shorts and ringers – ranging from sizes for tots to adults. They said they would also print any design, including business and club logos, Little League and other athletic teams. "We like Beeville; we're planning to stay," said Mrs. Shears, whose husband was academic director at NAS Chase Field.
