The Falls City Cheerleaders and the Beaver Nation raised $3000 for American Cancer Society. The check was presented to Mr. John Pish of the American Cancer Society at the Pink Out Pep Rally last Friday by the senior class represented by Dean Gaskamp, Matthew Stulting, Quincey Olenick, Taylor Moy, Alyssa Dziuk, Taylor Dziuk. “I’m tickled to see such a great result again from the pink out campaign. It’s a story of the numbers, 3 years of a pink out campaign, which has raised (cumulatively) over $11,000. The funds have helped the Relay For Life of Karnes County raise over $779,000 over its 14 year history. Results like this have allowed the American Cancer Society to help build a pool of more than 14 million cancer survivors over the course of it’s 100 years of fighting this disease” said Mr. Pish.
